Position: Customer Support Engineer
Job Description:
The Customer Support Engineers are responsible for performing on-site support of the systems including malfunction tracking, resolve, ticket management and serving as customer contact on technical and service-related problems.

2. Performs complete checkout and test after repair of the system to assure proper operating status. Responsible for proper maintenance of assigned tools and test equipment
3. Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships; communications with customer on a regular basis regarding equipment status; understands impact of the systems for customer environment. Follows-up with customers regarding problems. Interfaces and cooperates with Tier3, Tier4, R&D subject matter experts/product experts in resolution of problems
4. Logs, diagnoses and repairs the system and/or subsystem problems using diagnostic tools and procedures; assists other Field Service Reps in equipment repair; keeps customer apprised of repair and service activity
5. Prepares on-site activities using procedure documents
Required knowledge, skills, behaviors:
Human skills and experiences
1. Good balance and communication skill in English and Russian - Mandatory
2. Experience in IT industry and if possible he/she has telecommunication experience - Mandatory
3. Entry level of English (understand English manuals, and some speaking/hearing ability.) – Mandatory
4. Highly motivated, sociable, good public speaking skills, good organizational and project management skills, ethically balanced, ability to perform different tasks simultaneously.
Technical skills and experiences:
1. Experience of UNIX OS (Linux and/or Solaris) – Mandatory
Operation shell scripting, OS architecture, GNU-programs, VI editor - Advantage
IBM AIX knowledge - Big Advantage
2. Basic knowledge of IP - Mandatory
3. Knowledge of SS7, MAP – Advantage
4. Basic knowledge of Hardware - IBM P Server, SUN, EMC - Advantage
Experience of support of these hardware - Big Advantage
5. Knowledge of Oracle DB (SQL knowledge etc…) – Advantage
Work location, hours, off-days
Location: Yerevan, Armenia
Hours: 09:00 - 18:00
Off-days: 2 days a week (Saturday and Sunday), celebrated holidays (except of new year and christmas)
